The Gathering is an online retreat spread across 2 days and is a culmination of months of planning between myself Dr. Melissa Bird and my good friend Beth Ann Short (LCAT, ATR-BC, FRSA) to bring a virtual experience to 12 people who are craving magical connection and intentional activities.

20th and 21st March 2021

 

 

Over the course of the two days you will:
 

 

  • Learn how to use meditation and the creative process to create a sustainable practice using art journaling that will support your goals.
     

  • Learn the 7 steps to tap into your intuition and follow your heart in your daily life.
     

  • Participate in Creative Mindfulness activities that will provide clarity on YOUR innate strengths that you can use to manage the struggles in your life.
     

  • Be guided through The Graceful Revolution method for taking inspired, intentional action in your life every single day

Dr. Melissa Bird

As a life coach, author, and fiery public speaker, Dr. Melissa Bird has given hundreds of speeches and workshops across the world, including speaking to audiences at universities, national conferences, and churches.

 

Her combination of education, real life experience, and practical advice makes her a powerful force of change in the lives of the people she speaks to. Past audience members have described her as “fierce,” “revelatory,” “life-changing,” “enthusiastic,” and “inspirational.”

 

Dr. Bird creates the genesis for a new brand of leadership and graceful revolution. Her words awaken revolutionaries, trailblazers and powerful innovators in the quest for justice. When she’s not building her public speaking business, she can be found reading trashy novels, drinking fine whiskey, playing mom to three delicious humans, and loving her punk rock scientist James Thomas Kelly.

Beth Ann Short - LCAT, ATR-BC, FRSA
 

Beth Ann is a nationally registered and board certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB) and a licensed certified art therapist in the state of Oregon. Beth Ann is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and a member of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA), they have been an art therapist since 1999 and has worked in private practice since 2006.

Their clinical background specializes in art therapy, although Beth Ann has also been trained in traditional verbal methodologies, play therapy, family therapy, sand tray therapy and photo-therapy.

In October 2016 they published Creative Wellness: Art Journaling with Mindfulness. Since publication they have gone on to educate both clients and practicing clinicians in the techniques developed in the book.
