I have recently begun meditating twice a day. This is a big deal for me. I used to LOATHE meditating. I thought it was for those foofey woo woo gurus who were more enlightened than me.
The reason I started wasn’t because I knew it would be good for me or that I wanted to reach a higher stage of enlightenment, it was because I wanted to make more money and expand my business and I knew that the only way to get there was by grounding myself in some solid meditation.
Every morning I get some glorious messages to my future self.
Mostly they are words that are whispered in my ear.
Every day they are new words.
They are messages about how to live my life that day.
One day it was: bold, confident, joyful, excited, sensuous.
Another day it was: wildness, untamed, joyful, play.
I am sensing a theme.
Have more fun in my work and my days.
Feel more joy in my life.
Bring in wild, untamed, sensual abandon.
And so I have started to do that and boy howdy has it made a change in how I operate in the world. I am so glad I started doing that meditation stuff every day.
